Stake - Unlicensed casino
Hi
It has come to my attention that the United Kingdom players are not allowed to use this site. I have been playing for a long time now having made my account in the UK and continuing to play from here. I had made more than one account they allowed me to play knowing I was a customer from the uk and it wasn't untill I told them directly did they suspend my account. They have the technology to see where I am playing from. I can provide screenshots of login addresses and chats with live support knowing I'm from the uk
As they have a UK licensed version of the site they should have blocked me from using the site. Therefore I request that a refund of my deposits
If I am not satisfied with the response I will contact the relevant authorities.
Kind regards

Stake Casino - ToS violation
Hello there,
I would like to submit my complaint against Stake.com Casino, which is owned and operated by Medium Rare, N.V. (hereinafter "Stake", "We" or "Us"), a company with head office at Fransche Bloemweg 4 Curaçao. Medium Rare is licensed and regulated by the Government of Curaçao under the gaming license 8048/JAZ issued to Antillephone.
I started using Stake in April 2021, as I discovered this website on a livestream of a famous French streamer. He has an affiliate contract with them, so I was offered to have a 30€ bonus to play on Stake.
I didn't use any VPN or anything else, and you have to keep in mind that I filled out the ID and address verification, using my real details which showed that I was based in France.
Few months ago, I started realizing that I was suffering gambling addiction, which never happened to me before. The reason why my gambling addiction behavior started on Stake.com is that they don't provide any bet limit, or deposit limit option. They also don't do anything to prevent this gambling addiction, as they don't analyse your gaming behavior at all.
I started complaining about this situation, and they decided to block my account, using their Terms of services. I also complained that they shouldn't have let me play on their website, as playing from France was forbidden on Stake after I started to play on this website.
As they told me, they added France to the banned list during June 2021. But they never told me about it, nor sent me the new ToS. And they of course didn't close my account, which they must have done.
The reason why they added France to the banned list is because the French Regulator decided to block www.stake.com in France during June 2021 (https://igamingbusiness.com/french-regulator-blocks-access-to-stake-com-and-cbet/).
And indeed, during June 2021, I added some troubles to reach www.stake.com, and I told the support from Stake about this issue. Instead of explaining to me that they must now block french players, they provided me with some mirror websites to use to be able to keep betting on their website.
I think that this was 100% illegal, as Stake added France on their banned list, and as they added all the information to know that I was based in France, they should have told me that they must close my account.
This is the reason why I'm asking them to refund me my whole deposit (around 25k€).
Best regards

Stake - Unable to verify bets using third party
Dragon tower on stake.com is not available for verification using a third party verifier, was unaware to this fact and incurred considerable losses in a short matter of time, enough to make me question the system and want to verify the bets. Upon talking to the service team I was unable to get them to help resolve this issue and asked for either an account roll back to this morning when I logged on or a refund, both were declined. If I would have known I was unable to verify the bets I wouldn’t have played that game.
I’m not sure where to turn when it comes to dealing with this and resolving it so any help would be appreciated

Stake - holding funds deposited from my Crypto wallet
Over 12,000 cad was deposited into a Crypto wallet owned by stake.com
I did not make these deposits and they have frozen the money until I provide a police report. I’ve provided said report but they are still holding my funds.
Dear The Pogg,The Casino in question is Stake.com I couldn't find them on the list.I permanently self excluded from Stake.com on 28/03/2020 via a direct email to the CEO.I recently relapsed on the site signing up with the email submitted in the form, the username submitted in the form and a password. No other questions were asked at the time of sign up, deposit and withdrawal.I deposited in total well over 200,000 Doge (£8,500) and must've wagered loads more than that. At no point were KYC questions triggered or asked for.My deposits - withdrawals came to a total of 89,600 DOGE coin or £4,800 at the time of writing. When I realised I had relapsed after loosing all of this money I sent the CEO an email and my account was placed into withdrawal only mode. The issue I have is that my account should've been picked up as self excluded, some questions should be asked for customer due diligence such as the name, d.o.b and address of the customer, had these of been asked I wouldn't have been able to sign up or deposit without being identified as a self excluded member.Stake.com are not doing enough to identify self excluded patrons. The same goes for underage gamblers and AML laws, however my complaint is purely on the self excluded point. For resolution of my complaint I am asking for a refund of 89,600 DOGE coin or the value in £'s £4,800 at the time of writing. Stake have issued a final response and are not willing to communicate with me further on this. So I am seeking mediation.Kind regards.
