Marathonbet Casino - Player's winnings have been confiscated.
The player from Costa Rica filed a complaint against Marathonbet for the unfair confiscation of his winnings totaling $155 after undergoing a full KYC/AML verification. Despite initially being allowed to use his current account, Marathonbet later closed it, recalculated his game results, and confiscated his winnings. He had documentation supporting his claims and sought a review of the case. We attempted to obtain clarification and evidence from the casino regarding their permission for the player to continue using the account and the subsequent confiscation. After a full review, we concluded that the casino had reasonable grounds for its action because the disputed funds were generated through sports betting, the case involved duplicate/family-linked accounts and restricted betting patterns, and the matter fell outside our expertise. The complaint was therefore closed as rejected.
