Bovada — player complaint #65607, 2018-09-19: account blocks

I had an account with Bovada for over a year. Recently, I contacted Bovada to tell them to disable my account. They did so. Later that same day, my wife created a Bovada account and deposited $500. Through blackjack and roulette, she turned that into $1000. She received an email this evening saying her account had been cancelled and all funds were being withheld. I know Bovada's rules state one account per household, but we never simultaneously had accounts open and clearly never intended to defraud Bovada. I did live chat with Bovada and they have already zeroed out her account and will not return the $1000 she won.
