Paradise Entertainment flags $10.6M 1H26 loss as gaming equipment revenue falls 74%

Hong Kong gaming equipment supplier Paradise Entertainment reported a loss of HK$82.6 million ($10.6 million) for the first half of 2026, down from a profit of HK$177.8 million ($22.8 million) a year earlier. The company issued a profit warning on Friday.

Revenue from electronic gaming equipment and systems fell by HK$93.1 million ($11.9 million). The main hit came from live multi game (LMG) terminals and systems in Macau. Paradise Entertainment attributes the decline to preparations for Black Coral, a next-generation LMG platform scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026 or early 2027. Clients are postponing purchases until the new version arrives.

The second factor was the end of casino management operations in Macau. The agreement expired on 2 December 2025 and was not renewed. In the first half of 2026 Paradise Entertainment recorded no revenue from this segment, compared with HK$382.6 million ($49.1 million) a year earlier. The 2025 profit included HK$148.8 million ($19.1 million) from casino management; profit from continuing operations was HK$29 million ($3.7 million).

The company is finalising unaudited consolidated accounts and plans to publish interim results by the end of August.
