Global Gaming Solutions buys Wyoming Horse Racing

Global Gaming WY, a subsidiary of Global Gaming Solutions, has closed the purchase of 100 per cent of the membership interests in Wyoming Horse Racing and its 13 Horse Palace Gaming & OTB outlets. The parent company is owned by the Chickasaw Nation, and the deal takes it into the Wyoming market.

The package covers more than 1,500 historical horse racing (HHR) machines at Horse Palace venues across the state and live racing at Sweetwater Downs in Rock Springs. On 16 October 2026 the Wyoming Gaming Commission approved the transfer of licences for live events and simulcasts at a special meeting.

Portfolio

Global Gaming Solutions has operated since 2008. It runs Remington Park in Oklahoma City and Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas, where a framework agreement has been settled for the All-American Triple Crown Series in 2027. The company manages nearly 1,400 hotel rooms at WinStar World Casino and Resort and employs more than 1,250 people in Oklahoma, Texas, California and Wyoming.

Chickasaw Nation governor Chris Anoatubby called portfolio diversification part of a strategy for economic stability for tribal citizens. Dan Boren, the nation's commerce secretary and chairman of the Global Gaming Solutions board, said the company had grown out of Oklahoma into Texas over nearly 20 years and has now reached Wyoming. President and CEO Skip Seeley said hundreds of employees and thousands of visitors at Horse Palace and Sweetwater Downs sit behind the transaction.

What it means

HHR is land-based, outside online, so the deal carries no direct weight for arbitrage teams in the CIS. It does show how US tribal operators keep adding assets: Global Gaming Solutions now holds 13 outlets and a racetrack in a fourth state.
