AGCO and PointsBet Canada have settled the regulatory proceeding that followed the regulator's February 2026 notice of proposed order.
Under the terms, PointsBet will suspend its Ontario gaming site for two days. Player access in the province stops for that stretch. Other markets are not affected.
PointsBet will commission an independent audit of its operations to strengthen its control environment. The auditor and the audit methodology are to be agreed with AGCO. The company has committed to fixing the findings, and those corrections will be independently validated. Operators in Ontario can read the case as a prompt to review their own procedures.
