What wewrite-wechat-ai-publishing does

This skill covers the whole publishing chain for a WeChat Official Account. It starts by pulling trending topics from Weibo, Toutiao and Baidu with scripts/fetch_hotspots.py, then scores keywords against Baidu and 360 suggestions through scripts/seo_keywords.py. From there it drafts ten candidate topics, ranked by trending heat, how well they fit the client and how much they differ from what is already out there, and writes the piece using one of five frameworks plus the style rules in references/writing-guide.md.

Artwork comes from toolkit/image_gen.py: a 900×383 cover or an 800×600 inline image, generated by doubao or openai. WeChat wants inline styles, so toolkit/converter.py adds them during the markdown-to-HTML step; themes live in toolkit/themes/ and include professional-clean, tech-modern, warm-editorial and minimal. Publishing goes through toolkit/cli.py publish, and the result lands in the draft box rather than the live feed.

You need a config.yaml copied from config.example.yaml holding the account appid and secret, plus an API key for whichever image provider you pick. The skill suggests keeping those in WECHAT_APPID, WECHAT_SECRET, DOUBAO_API_KEY and OPENAI_API_KEY environment variables. Python packages come from requirements.txt. Each client is described in clients/{name}/style.yaml — topics, tone, theme — and without that profile the pipeline has no idea who it is writing for.

What it helps with

  • produce a WeChat Official Account draft in a single pass
  • find a trending topic and size up its search demand
  • generate a 900×383 cover for a given headline
  • turn markdown into inline-styled HTML the WeChat editor accepts
  • learn style rules from an editor's changes and append them to a client profile

Example prompts for the agent

  • Pull today's trending topics and give me ten angles for the clients/tech-blog client
  • Write the article in the clients/demo voice, make a cover, and format it with the tech-modern theme
  • Publish article.md to the WeChat draft box with output/cover.png as the cover
