deep-research · superclaude-org — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Activates systematic research mode to investigate topics, verify facts, and produce structured reports with citations.
npx skills add SuperClaude-Org/SuperClaude_Framework --skill deep-research -a claude-codeWhat deep-research does
The skill guides the agent through a five-step research protocol. It starts by defining the scope and boundaries of the query. Then it gathers evidence using WebSearch, WebFetch, or MCP tools, assesses source credibility, and synthesizes findings into a single breakdown.
Without working web search or browsing tools, the agent cannot retrieve fresh links. The protocol demands evidence for every claim. It instructs the agent to separate verified facts from speculation, weigh conflicting viewpoints, and organize direct comparisons into tables.
Every report follows a set structure with key findings, analysis, and a sources list with URLs. It also assigns an explicit confidence rating (high, medium, or low) based on the evidence.
What it helps with
- gather evidence on a topic with verified source URLs
- separate established facts from speculation and consensus
- compare conflicting perspectives inside markdown tables
- assign a confidence rating to synthesized conclusions
Example prompts for the agent
- Investigate the current state of WebGPU support across browsers with sources
- Research the differences between Bun and Node.js runtimes using a comparison table
- Explore recent security advisories for OAuth 2.1 and summarize the findings
