What sumsub-api-generic does

This skill handles calls against api.sumsub.com when specialized modules like questionnaire or level builders do not fit. It fetches the official OpenAPI 3.0.1 specification and caches it for 24 hours. The agent avoids path guessing by checking routes through find_endpoint.py and reading schemas with show_endpoint.py.

Calls go through sumsub_curl.sh, which generates an HMAC-SHA256 signature for each payload. The script strictly rejects production credentials and requires sandbox tokens starting with sbx:. Path parameters must be resolved before signing, and the agent asks for confirmation before sending destructive write actions.

What it helps with

  • find matching endpoints in the OpenAPI schema without guessing paths
  • inspect request payloads and response shapes for Sumsub routes
  • sign requests using HMAC-SHA256 and sandbox App Tokens
  • fetch applicant verification states and review AML screening hits

Example prompts for the agent

  • Find the Sumsub API endpoint for attaching tags to an applicant
  • Inspect the request body schema for updating applicant records
  • Send a signed sandbox request to fetch AML hits for applicant sbx_test
