What sumsub-manage-webhooks does

This skill handles event subscriptions for Sumsub verification flows, covering hooks like applicantReviewed and applicantPending. Fetch requests query /resources/api/clientWebhooks, while write operations go through /resources/api/agent/clientWebhooks. Routine execution is coordinated by manage_webhooks.sh together with build_webhook_payload.py.

Operations stay restricted to sandbox tenants. The utility actively checks tokens and declines any credential lacking the sbx: prefix. In addition, internal destinations like localhost fail validation immediately because Sumsub delivery infrastructure requires a target reachable from the public internet.

Public endpoints do not support deletion or delivery telemetry. When an endpoint is no longer needed or requires metric tracking, developers must perform those actions in the Sumsub cockpit UI.

What it helps with

  • list registered sandbox webhook endpoints capped at 50 records
  • add a public webhook endpoint for applicant status updates
  • update secret tokens and event subscription lists on an existing ID
  • validate webhook payload structures before production deployment

Example prompts for the agent

  • List all registered webhook listeners in my Sumsub sandbox
  • Register a new webhook subscription using the parameters in spec.json
  • Update the signing secret and event types for webhook ID 12345

Questions about sumsub-manage-webhooks

How to install sumsub-manage-webhooks in Claude Code?

Run npx skills add sumsub/agent-skills --skill sumsub-manage-webhooks -a claude-code. The definition will be saved to ~/.claude/skills/sumsub-manage-webhooks/SKILL.md.

Can this skill configure production webhooks?

No, production configuration is blocked intentionally. The scripts require a sandbox token starting with sbx:, so live webhooks must be created manually in the Sumsub dashboard.

Does the skill allow deleting webhooks?

The public Sumsub API does not provide a delete endpoint. To remove a webhook subscription or inspect delivery metrics, use the Sumsub web interface.
