sumsub-create-kyt-rules — Claude Code skill: setup and usage
Configures Sumsub KYT transaction monitoring rules, risk tags, and scoring thresholds via sandbox API calls. Built for automated compliance setups.
npx skills add sumsub/agent-skills --skill sumsub-create-kyt-rules -a claude-codeWhat sumsub-create-kyt-rules does
The skill turns plain text monitoring logic into KytTxnRule payloads for the Sumsub API. It submits new rules one by one in test mode with dryRun: true. Because of this, rules immediately contribute to dryScore without altering live user outcomes until toggled on in the console.
It configures the full assessment path. Once a rule triggers, it assigns tags, aggregates weight values into an applicant score, and aligns the total with defined risk thresholds. Tag creation accepts eight-digit hex colors, while risk levels require at least two configured boundary ranges.
Requests require sandbox credentials starting with sbx:. The helper script immediately rejects live production keys. Before submitting rules, the agent checks allowedChecks entitlements to ensure the tenant holds rights for that specific event category.
What it helps with
- Define transaction holding or blocking rules based on transfer amount and country
- Set up scoring tags with weights and 8-digit hex style codes
- Establish applicant risk score intervals and status labels
- Push revisions for existing transaction monitoring rules via sandbox API
Example prompts for the agent
- Set up a KYT rule to hold transactions over 5000 EUR in dry run mode
- Create a risk tag called suspicious_peer with weight 1.5 and color #FF5500FF
- Configure applicant risk levels with Low starting at 0 and High starting at 75
