What sap-btp-connectivity does

This skill guides your coding assistant through connecting SAP BTP workloads to remote cloud services and on-premise systems. It covers HTTP, RFC, LDAP, MAIL, and TCP destination setups across Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments. Authentication flows detail OAuth2 client credentials, SAML bearer assertions, and principal propagation.

In containerized infrastructure, the skill provides Helm deployment instructions for Connectivity Proxy and Transparent Proxy. These components expose BTP destinations directly as native Kubernetes services. Code examples include consumption patterns via @sap-cloud-sdk/connectivity.

On-premise connectivity relies strictly on a running Cloud Connector instance in the local network. Without proper X.509 certificate generation, single sign-on flows break instantly.
