What sap-ai-core does

The skill adds reference instructions for working with SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad. It guides you through connecting foundation models via a harmonized API, setting up prompt templates, and masking sensitive data. It also explains how to connect vector databases for grounding enterprise context.

It covers batch training jobs handled by Argo Workflows alongside live HTTPS inference endpoints. Pay attention to BTP plan tiers. You must use the Extended plan to access Generative AI Hub. Free and Standard plans do not include generative features.

Model availability varies by tenant entitlements. Always verify the active catalog directly in your tenant before wiring application code. Tenants also face a limit of 50 resource groups.
