meeting-prep — Claude skill: prep briefs for public equity meetings
Builds a conversation plan for an issuer meeting: which questions come first, what to listen for, and how to push back on a vague answer.
npx skills add openai/plugins --skill meeting-prep -a codexWhat meeting-prep does
The skill produces a prep bundle for a public equity meeting: objective, investor stance, a compact verified baseline, and a conversation flow from opening frame to close. It ranks three or four must-ask questions by decision impact and pairs each with listen-fors and a follow-up for evasive answers. You also get likely pushbacks, compliance boundaries, topics to avoid, and an action tracker.
Sources are grouped by category: filings and IR materials, earnings transcripts and presentations, internal research, portfolio models and trackers, market data and estimates. A source the user names comes first; after that, one connector, file, export, or pasted input that fits the category. When a route needs auth or setup, the skill states the practical limitation and keeps going with whatever is already available.
Quick prep fits in chat. For a reusable packet or an HTML brief for a live meeting, it writes a standalone HTML file and leaves your existing briefs, decks, and spreadsheets untouched. The boundary is firm: private diligence, investment-banking pitches, corporate FP&A, legal meetings, and scheduling-only requests belong elsewhere.
What it helps with
- turn a company into a meeting plan tied to one decision
- order questions by how much they affect the call
- write fallbacks for answers that dodge the point
- list compliance limits and off-limit topics
- track follow-ups after the meeting
Example prompts for the agent
- Prep a brief for my call with this issuer: objective, stance, and the three questions that matter
- Build an HTML brief for the live meeting and leave my notes as they are
- Refresh last quarter's prep for this company and add a follow-up tracker
