firebase-crashlytics — Claude Code skill: mobile crash reporting
A skill for Firebase Crashlytics in Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI coding platforms. Collects crash reports from Android and iOS apps, lets you read data through the Firebase CLI MCP server.
npx skills add firebase/agent-skills --skill firebase-crashlytics -a claude-codeWhat firebase-crashlytics does
Crashlytics captures crash data directly from your mobile app. The skill gives your agent the ability to set up the SDK on Android or iOS, add custom keys and logs to reports, set user identifiers, and report non-fatal exceptions. You'll need a Firebase project and either an Android or iOS app. Crash data is accessed via the MCP server in Firebase CLI, installed separately.
The skill includes setup instructions for both platforms and examples for customizing crash reports. Firebase CLI can be installed via npx -y firebase-tools@latest; it's optional for SDK setup but required to read collected data.
What it helps with
- set up Crashlytics on Android or iOS
- add custom keys and logs to crash reports
- set user identifiers for reports
- report non-fatal exceptions
- read crash data through Firebase CLI
Example prompts for the agent
