find-quotes — Claude Code skill: quote search
Find spoken passages in podcasts and YouTube videos, with source details and clip boundaries. Useful when you need to verify a quote or locate a moment.
npx skills add arcmira/mcp --skill find-quotes -a claude-codeWhat find-quotes does
Search by topic or speaker, then fetch transcript lines with time offsets. Results can include the quoted words, speaker, episode, date, and a link that opens at the relevant moment. Clip boundaries come from the transcript lines.
Names must first be matched to indexed entities: filters accept IDs, not names. If several matches fit, the skill asks the user to choose. When a transcript cannot be read, it can use the search passage instead; machine captions are left as they are, so check the video before relying on exact wording.
Caption reads use 4 credits for each started 15-minute segment in the requested window, or for the full episode when there is no window. A Premium read uses credits for the entire video regardless of the window. The skill uses Arcmira.
What it helps with
- find an exact line in a podcast or video
- identify who said a passage
- get a link that opens at the quote
- set start and end points for a clip
Example prompts for the agent
- Find what Chamath said about Anthropic IPO in podcasts and give me the passage timestamp.
- Locate the host discussing the product launch and return the exact quote with its source.
- Find a clip-worthy passage on this topic and give me its start and end times.
