What compare-shows does

The skill runs a side-by-side comparison between two YouTube shows or podcasts. It pulls indexed video counts, checks recent episodes, and ranks each creator's primary topics.

Under the hood, it executes scripts via arcmira_execute_read. Show titles resolve to channel IDs through arcmira.resolve. The flow queries occurrences with both IDs to isolate overlapping topics from shared, then merges records from sponsors to report ad read volumes.

Passing a raw name instead of a channel ID into filters throws an id_required error. An empty shared list is not a failure: shows often share no common topics in narrow date ranges.

What it helps with

  • compare coverage and archive size across two competing shows
  • find shared podcast sponsors and compare ad read counts
  • identify overlapping discussion topics over a 90-day window
  • generate a side-by-side digest of recent YouTube channel episodes

Example prompts for the agent

  • Compare TBPN and All-In Podcast over the last 90 days
  • Find shared sponsors and overlapping topics between Theo and Primeagen
  • Show which brands both podcasts discussed this month
