company-watch — Claude Code skill: podcast and YouTube mention research
Pulls together what podcasts and YouTube said about a company, person or topic over the last 90 days, then turns a follow request into a live Arcmira monitor.
npx skills add arcmira/mcp --skill company-watch -a claude-codeWhat company-watch does
Ask who said what about a brand lately, and the skill runs a single program to answer. Without a stated window it looks back 90 days: episode counts per show come from occurrences, the trend from momentum, catalog notes from mentions, and quotes from search.
Names do not go into filters directly. The skill calls resolve first, because filters only accept ids (ent_…, UC…, 11-character video ids) and a plain name raises id_required. Companies resolve without a type, people with { type: "person" }. Topics get one id per spelling, so all of them are tracked. Research and lookup calls stay on arcmira_execute_read; the save step goes through arcmira_execute_write.
The follow-up half creates or reuses a monitor. Alerts arrive by email or Slack, realtime, hourly or daily, and creating the monitor costs no credits while every alert spends 25 from the account plan and then the on-demand budget. Confirm the monitor and its delivery before the write: a Slack alert needs a connected workspace.
What it helps with
- see what was said about a brand this month
- spot whether chatter about a company is rising or fading
- check if a show mentioned us or a rival
- set up alerts for a person or topic across podcasts
- gather episode quotes for an internal brief
Example prompts for the agent
- What have podcasts said about Linear in the last month?
- Keep me posted whenever data centers, datacenters or data centre comes up on a show
- Save this research to my monitor and send a daily Slack alert
