What cnki-journal-toc does

The skill drives a browser to a journal page on CNKI, picks the year and issue you name, then reads the issue table in one script pass. You get back a numbered list of papers with authors and page ranges.

Arguments come as one string: journal name, year, issue, plus the word download when you also want the cover and TOC scan. Leave the year and issue out and it falls back to the latest online-first release. The scan opens in a new tab on the CNKI reader, and the download link is tied to that session — caching it or reusing it later gets you nowhere.

Downloading requires a CNKI login; the reader button does nothing for anonymous visitors. The skill also leans on mcp__chrome-devtools__* for tab switching and clicks, so the reader steps need that MCP server connected. The original-TOC button shows up only after you select a specific issue, not in the online-first view.
