cnki-search — Claude Code skill for CNKI paper search
Searches CNKI papers by keyword and returns records with authors, journals, and dates. Use it when you need an initial literature search on a subject.
npx skills add cookjohn/cnki-skills --skill cnki-search -a claude-codeWhat cnki-search does
This skill opens CNKI search through mcp__chrome-devtools__navigate_page, submits keywords in Russian or English, and extracts the current result page in one script. It returns the result total, page details, paper titles, and links.
Each record includes authors, journal, date, citation count, and download count. The skill checks whether a captcha is visible instead of treating an off-screen page element as active, so a visible captcha stops the search with a captcha error. It requires Chrome DevTools MCP tools, which is worth checking before you run a query.
When you choose a paper, it opens the result URL directly rather than clicking into another tab. Search results can also be passed to cnki-export for batch export to Zotero without opening every paper page.
