What claude-skill-app-onboarding-questionnaire does

Run /app-onboarding-questionnaire from your project directory. The skill opens your sources, manifest or plist files and existing screens to work out what the app does and which permissions it needs. From there it shapes a before/after story, lays it out screen by screen and writes the copy: headlines, questions, answer options, buttons, testimonials.

Screens come out in the framework your project already uses — SwiftUI, React Native, Flutter, Jetpack Compose. Permission handling is detected for you: Info.plist on iOS, AndroidManifest.xml on Android, both for React Native and Flutter. Each permission gets a priming screen that explains the benefit before the system dialog appears.

The skill works interactively and asks clarifying questions as it goes. Progress lands in Claude's memory, so you can pick the build back up in a later session. How many screens you get depends on the app: a comparison table or an account gate may not fit every project.

What it helps with

  • build a questionnaire onboarding flow for an app
  • draft copy for questions, answer options and CTAs
  • add priming screens ahead of camera and location permission prompts
  • generate onboarding screen code in SwiftUI, React Native or Flutter
  • add a demo screen where the user gets a tangible result

Example prompts for the agent

  • Add onboarding screens to my project and write the copy
  • Create a paywall onboarding flow with a trial
