What c-music does

The skill documents the spogo CLI and passes its commands to the agent. Play and pause, next and previous, searching a track, album or playlist, starting a playlist by name or URI, adding a track to the queue, setting volume, listing saved playlists — each of those goes through spogo.

The skill advises running spogo status first to see what is on. When a search returns something ambiguous, confirm the pick with you before it plays. Volume takes an integer from 0 to 100.

For any of this to work, spogo needs Spotify OAuth credentials already configured, and the account has to be Premium. Spotify also has to be open on at least one device — with no active client, the commands do nothing.

What it helps with

  • pause or resume whatever is playing
  • jump to the next or previous track
  • find a track or album by name and start it
  • add a song to the playback queue
  • check the current track and set the volume

Example prompts for the agent

  • Pause the music and tell me what's playing.
  • Search for the album "Dark Side of the Moon" and play it.
  • Queue the track with URI spotify:track:TRACK_ID.
