product-manager-toolkit · borghei — Claude Code skill: RICE, PRDs, interviews
A skill for product work: RICE scoring from a CSV, transcript analysis for customer interviews, PRD templates and positioning.
npx skills add borghei/Claude-Skills --skill product-manager-toolkit -a claude-codeWhat product-manager-toolkit does
The skill covers product work from discovery through handoff. scripts/rice_prioritizer.py reads a feature CSV, scores each item with RICE and takes team capacity through the --capacity flag. scripts/customer_interview_analyzer.py takes an interview transcript and pulls out pain points ranked by severity, feature asks, jobs-to-be-done patterns and quotes worth keeping.
For documents there is references/prd_templates.md with four formats: standard PRD, one-page PRD, feature brief and agile epic. The RICE formula and an interview script live in references/frameworks.md. The skill starts by pinning down inputs — which deliverable, the problem and who has it, the success metric, what is out of scope. When something is missing it asks, unless you want the answer right away; then it produces one and lists its assumptions at the top.
Both scripts are Python, so you need the interpreter available and you should run them from the skill repository root. Mind the license: MIT with Commons Clause, which rules out selling the skill or its parts.
What it helps with
- rank a feature backlog with RICE inside team capacity
- mine customer interview transcripts for pain points and requests
- draft a PRD from a template sized to the feature
- write a positioning statement before the PRD
- spot a portfolio skewed toward oversized projects
Example prompts for the agent
- Run RICE prioritization on
features.csvwith capacity 20 and split the results into quick wins and big bets. - Analyze
interview.txtand group the pain points by severity. - Write a one-page PRD for the new user onboarding flow.
