This skill registers cxpak as an MCP server for the current project and walks you through checking the connection. Handy when cxpak tools stop responding.

One job: put cxpak into the project's MCP configuration. The skill runs claude mcp add cxpak -- cxpak serve --mcp ., then points you at /mcp to confirm the server is up.
cxpak itself has to be on the machine first. Homebrew covers that: brew tap Barnett-Studios/tap && brew install cxpak. Cargo works too — cargo install cxpak. Skip this step and the add command has nothing to launch.
The skill installs into Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI and OpenCode. On Claude the file lands at ~/.claude/skills/setup/SKILL.md; Codex keeps it in .agents/skills/setup/SKILL.md.
