angular-di — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
A dependency injection skill for Angular v20+ using inject() and tokens. The analogjs team deprecated this package and cleared its instructions.
npx skills add analogjs/angular-skills --skill angular-di -a claude-codeWhat angular-di does
The skill originally guided coding assistants through dependency injection patterns in Angular v20 and newer. It covered service architecture and provider scopes using the inject() function.
This package is now formally deprecated and unmaintained. The analogjs maintainers wiped the rule content directly from the repository so models would not read outdated instructions. Installing angular-di now only brings in a deprecation notice, while earlier guidance remains purely in git history.
Authors advise developers to switch to the official angular/skills repository instead. If you previously installed this skill into your workspace, run npx skills remove analogjs/angular-skills to clean it up.
What it helps with
- Set up dependency injection via the inject() function in Angular v20+
- Create typed injection tokens for services and configuration
- Configure provider hierarchies across components and root injectors
- Manage singleton versus component-scoped service lifecycles
Example prompts for the agent
- Show how to define an injection token and register its provider in Angular
- Refactor this component service injection to use inject() instead of constructor
- Set up a scoped service provider inside a specific Angular component
