What alphafold-skill does

The skill executes structured requests against the AlphaFold database API via scripts/rest_request.py. It queries endpoints for predictions and sequence annotations. By default, it produces concise Markdown summaries instead of dumping large payloads into chat.

The workflow requires Python and the bundled script. Inputs are passed as JSON via stdin with required parameters base_url and path. For heavy arrays, max_items caps the record count between 3 and 5. When raw output is needed, setting save_raw=true saves the response directly to disk and returns the file path.

Install this if your agent queries protein structures. Without AlphaFold lookups, it adds unnecessary overhead.
