Yolfi Payments MCP — Claude Code MCP server for crypto checkout
Lets your coding agent create Yolfi paylinks, wire up crypto checkout and check payment status without touching the dashboard.
claude mcp add --transport http yolfi-agent https://app.yolfi.com/mcpWhat Yolfi Payments MCP does
Yolfi Payments MCP connects an agent to Yolfi's payment API: it registers a workspace, creates paylinks, configures webhooks and checks crypto payment status. The @yolfi/agent package ships an MCP server, a CLI, a JavaScript SDK and a SKILL.md skill, all JSON-first, so the agent calls tools instead of clicking through a dashboard.
You can run it remotely at https://app.yolfi.com/mcp or locally with npx -y @yolfi/agent. The local server needs YOLFI_API_KEY and YOLFI_WEBHOOK_SECRET; without them it cannot reach your workspace. Browser authorization stores the credential in ~/.yolfi/config.json with 0700 and 0600 permissions, and YOLFI_CONFIG_HOME overrides that directory.
The skill sets the order of operations and the limits: the agent inspects the project and installs checkout on its own, but asks you for the wallet, price and currency. It must not invent wallet addresses or delete paylinks. Node.js 18+ is required, otherwise npx will not start the server.
What it helps with
- accept stablecoin payments on a site
- create a payment link for a digital product
- check whether a crypto payment went through
- gate access behind a confirmed payment event
- verify the
X-Yolfi-Signatureheader on a webhook
Example prompts for the agent
- Add Yolfi crypto checkout to the payment page in
checkout.js - Create a paylink for 10 USDT for the item in
products.json - Check the payment status for that paylink and tell me if it cleared

Questions about Yolfi Payments MCP
How do I install Yolfi Payments MCP in Claude Code?
Remote: claude mcp add --transport http yolfi-agent https://app.yolfi.com/mcp. Local: `claude mcp add --env YOLFI_API_KEY=<YOLFI_API_KEY> --env YOLFI_WEBHOOK_SECRET=<YOLFI_WEBHOOK_SECRET> --transport stdio yolfi-payments-mcp -- npx -y @yolfi/agent`.
What does Yolfi Payments MCP do?
It gives the agent Yolfi tools: register a workspace, create paylinks, configure webhooks and check crypto payment status. The agent wires checkout into your code instead of you setting it up by hand.
What does the local server need to run?
Node.js 18+ plus the YOLFI_API_KEY and YOLFI_WEBHOOK_SECRET values. Browser authorization is an alternative — it stores the credential in ~/.yolfi/config.json.
