Yatmo neighbourhood data — Claude Code MCP server: install
This MCP server gives agents real estate neighbourhood details, including nearby places and travel times. Use it to check schools, shops or transport access around a property.
claude mcp add yatmo -e LicenceKey=<LicenceKey> -- npx -y @yatmo/mcpWhat Yatmo neighbourhood data for real estate does
Yatmo gives an agent information about places around a property: schools, nurseries, supermarkets, public transport, train stations and motorway access. It can produce a neighbourhood summary or return nearby points of interest filtered by category and radius. Coverage includes 25 countries.
The server exposes four tools: a location summary, a nearby-places list, a nearest place lookup by category, and an accessibility profile. Each takes latitude, longitude, country and language; responses include readable text and structured facts. Connect to Yatmo’s hosted server or run the local package with npx -y @yatmo/mcp.
Requests need a Yatmo key in the LicenceKey header; the local process reads it from an environment variable. Calls without a key return a 401 error, and the key grants access to your Yatmo account. Local use requires Node.js 18 or later.
What it helps with
- Find the nearest school and supermarket to a property
- Summarize the area around a real estate listing
- Filter nearby places by category and radius
- Check public transport and motorway access
Example prompts for the agent
- Find the nearest primary school and supermarket to this property, with walking times.
- Summarize the neighbourhood around this listing and identify nearby schools and shops.
- Check public transport access here and find the closest train station and motorway entrance.
