Warmth Engine Observatory — Claude Code MCP server: what it does
Lets an AI agent query a verified event database on AI infrastructure coordination between geopolitical blocs. Useful when you need sourced facts rather than a news summary.
claude mcp add --transport http observatory https://warmthengine.com/mcpWhat Warmth Engine Observatory does
The endpoint exposes eighteen tools: search_events, get_event, get_connections, get_connection_by_id, get_actors, get_coverage_stats, get_methodology, get_topology, traverse_coordination, get_capability_signatures, get_capability_links, get_threads, get_event_stack, query_scp, get_blocs, get_contribution, get_metrics, get_commitments. Each event carries a tier (Cross-Bloc, Between-Bloc, Intra-Bloc), a domain (Energy/Infrastructure, Security, Technology, Trade), an industry tag and an environmental nexus assessment.
Above the events sit Coordination Connections — seven relationship types such as Policy Cascade, Joint Issuance and Funding Flow. Sovereign Capability Profiles cover twenty state actors across seven dimensions with four designation levels (PAA, AIK, ACS, Participant). There is also a compute commitment register and Infrastructure Threads, which track the same chip, power source or fabrication facility across separate events.
Data comes from an API on Cloudflare Worker and KV, served at warmthengine.com/mcp. Token authentication applies, in the form ?token=weo_xxx; without it API and MCP consumers get nowhere. A static JSON file backs the API up when it goes down.
What it helps with
- find verified coordination events between blocs
- trace one chip or fab across several events
- compare sovereign capability of twenty states across seven dimensions
- pull the methodology behind event classification
- list computing capacity committed to societal challenges
Example prompts for the agent
- Search WEO for Cross-Bloc events in the Technology domain
- Show me the Funding Flow connections around that event
- Pull the sovereign capability profile for this state actor

Questions about Warmth Engine Observatory
How do I install Warmth Engine Observatory in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http observatory https://warmthengine.com/mcp. The same server also registers under the name warmth-engine-observatory with claude mcp add --transport http warmth-engine-observatory https://warmthengine.com/mcp.
What does Warmth Engine Observatory do?
It gives an agent access to verified AI infrastructure coordination events, the connections between them, sovereign capability profiles and a compute commitment register.
Does the server need a token?
Yes. API and MCP consumers authenticate with a token in the form ?token=weo_xxx. The website itself uses a password header.
