walkerOS Source Browser — Claude Code MCP server
MCP server that creates, parses, and audits walkerOS data-elb tracking attributes in HTML markup. Useful when tagging web interfaces for analytics.
claude mcp add source-browser -- npx -y @walkeros/mcp-source-browserWhat walkerOS Source Browser does
The server communicates over standard I/O and parses real DOM trees. No external accounts or tokens are needed.
Three tools handle the tagging process. The generate_tagging helper creates attribute sets from structured specs. Meanwhile, parse_tagging inspects HTML snippets to extract triggered events. To catch broken markup, validate_tagging flags detached actions and missing entities. While data-elb acts as the default prefix, the prefix parameter allows custom attribute naming.
Two documentation guides are available through the walkeros:// protocol. They cover HTML markup conventions and the createTagger() fluent interface.
What it helps with
- generate data-elb analytics attributes for interface elements
- inspect HTML snippets to identify dangling actions or missing entities
- extract emitted walkerOS events and globals from existing markup
- switch tracking attributes to a custom prefix
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate walkerOS tagging attributes for a product card with name and price
- Run validate_tagging on this pricing table markup to find missing entities
- Call parse_tagging on the navigation bar snippet to see what events it emits
