Suno by Ace Data Cloud — Claude Code MCP server: AI music
Wires Suno into your AI client: generate songs and lyrics, make covers, split stems and track tasks from chat.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp-suno https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcpWhat Suno by Ace Data Cloud does
The server exposes Suno through the Ace Data Cloud API. From chat you can build a song from a text prompt, set your own lyrics, title and style, extend a track from a given timestamp, or make a cover and remix. Separate tools pull vocals, split a song into stems, and return WAV, MP3, MIDI and MP4 plus timing and subtitle data.
There are more than thirty tools inside: suno_generate_music, suno_generate_custom_music, suno_extend_music, suno_cover_music, suno_concat_music, suno_generate_lyrics, suno_stems_music, suno_get_task and others. Personas and custom models are covered, along with uploading your own audio to extend or cover, and mashups of two tracks. Generation is asynchronous, so keep the original task ID — that is what you use later with suno_get_task or suno_get_tasks_batch to collect the result.
Two connection routes exist. Browser sign-in over OAuth keeps the key out of your MCP config; an API token is for clients that cannot complete remote OAuth. Generation spends your Ace account balance, so without a token or an approved sign-in the tools will not run. The hosted server lives at https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp.
What it helps with
- generate a song from a text prompt
- set your own lyrics, title and style
- extend an existing song from a timestamp
- make a cover or remix in another style
- separate a track into vocals and instruments
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate a synthwave song about a night city
- Make a jazz cover of this track
- Split the song into stems and show me the result

Questions about Suno by Ace Data Cloud
How do I install Suno by Ace Data Cloud in Claude Code?
Add the remote server with claude mcp add --transport http mcp-suno https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp. If your client cannot do remote OAuth, use the stdio route: claude mcp add --env ACEDATACLOUD_API_TOKEN=<ACEDATACLOUD_API_TOKEN> --transport stdio suno-by-ace-data-cloud -- uvx mcp-suno.
What does Suno by Ace Data Cloud do?
It gives your agent Suno tools: music and lyric generation, track extension, covers, mashups, stems, personas and custom models, plus audio downloads in several formats.
What do I need for the server to work?
Either browser sign-in over OAuth or an Ace Data Cloud API token. Generation draws on your Ace account balance, so without access the tools will not run.
