Social Media Search API (XPOZ) — Claude Code MCP server
Remote MCP server that searches Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok without native platform API keys. Built for audience research, lead generation, and brand tracking.
claude mcp add --transport http social-insights https://mcp.xpoz.ai/mcpWhat Social Media Search API — Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok (XPOZ) does
The server runs as a hosted endpoint at https://mcp.xpoz.ai/mcp over Streamable HTTP. It exposes dedicated tools for Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok. Agents can look up creators by bio keywords, pull full comment trees, inspect user connections, and monitor specific subreddits.
Large extractions run through background operations that produce CSV files up to 500K rows. A cache bypass flag forceLatest: true lets the agent request live figures instead of cached entries. If your development environment supports only local stdio processes, the repository provides a Docker image powered by mcp-remote.
Direct HTTP calls return a 401 response because the service enforces OAuth 2.1 via Google sign-in. Your MCP client must be capable of launching the browser authentication handshake, or you must supply XPOZ_API_KEY directly inside the Docker bridge.
What it helps with
- discover creators on TikTok and Twitter by bio keywords
- pull post comment trees and quote tweets for sentiment review
- export up to 500K social media rows to CSV asynchronously
- track mentions across subreddits without maintaining developer keys
Example prompts for the agent
- Search Reddit for recent discussions mentioning Tailwind CSS and return the authors.
- Find TikTok profiles that regularly publish content about mobile development.
- Retrieve replies and engagement metrics for tweet ID
