What PostPulse does

PostPulse is an MCP server that links an assistant to the PostPulse social media platform. From there you can schedule posts, upload images and videos by URL or as binary data, list connected accounts, and read posts over a date range with per-platform status. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, Bluesky and Telegram are covered.

A hosted endpoint at https://mcp.post-pulse.com needs no setup — sign in with OAuth 2.0 backed by Auth0. Running it yourself takes Node.js and a REDIS_URL: sessions and events are not persisted without Redis, so the server will not start. Build with npm install and npm run build, start with npm start, or use the Docker image on port 3000.

Accounts are linked by a URL generated in the chat. That link is single-use, tied to your PostPulse profile, and expires after 24 hours. Telegram cannot be connected this way — use https://post-pulse.com/app/accounts instead. For Facebook, Telegram and Pinterest, call list_chats first to pick a Page, channel or board.

What it helps with

  • queue one post across several social networks
  • upload an image or video for a scheduled post
  • check post status and metrics for a date range
  • connect or reconnect a social account from the chat
  • pick a Facebook Page or Telegram channel to publish to

Example prompts for the agent

  • List all my connected PostPulse accounts
  • Schedule a post with promo.png to Instagram and X tomorrow at 10:00
  • Give me a link to connect my TikTok account
