Pinterest Ads — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connect an AI client to Pinterest Ads tools for account data and campaign operations. Use it to query reports, audiences, catalogs, or campaign changes.
claude mcp add --env PINTEREST_ACCESS_TOKEN=<PINTEREST_ACCESS_TOKEN> --env PINTEREST_REFRESH_TOKEN=<PINTEREST_REFRESH_TOKEN> --env PINTEREST_APP_ID=<PINTEREST_APP_ID> --env PINTEREST_APP_SECRET=<PINTEREST_APP_SECRET> --env PINTEREST_AD_ACCOUNT_IDS=<PINTEREST_AD_ACCOUNT_IDS> --transport stdio pinterest-ads -- npx -y @getmcpads/pinterest-ads-mcp-serverWhat Pinterest Ads does
The server provides 29 tools for reading Pinterest Ads data and 30 for write operations. They cover reports, audiences, catalogs, and native campaign work. Writes are off by default and require confirmation; campaign changes are previewed first.
For local use, you need Pinterest credentials and an MCP client that supports stdio. In Claude Code, add the server with claude mcp add; it runs through the @getmcpads/pinterest-ads-mcp-server package. The required runtime is Node.js 22.23.4, 24.22.1, 26.12.1, or a newer release in those lines. Older versions start the server with a warning on stderr.
What it helps with
