The plugin adds slash commands and skills to Claude for the Spotify Ads API. You describe a campaign, audience, ad or report in words, and the plugin turns that into API calls. Sign-in happens in the browser; tokens land on disk and refresh on their own before each request, so you do not repeat the OAuth dance.
Setup needs a Spotify Developer account whose app has Ads API enabled, plus your ad account ID. The team administrator hands out a client ID; the application secret is never requested. Run /spotify-ads-api:configure to start. PKCE authorization relies on Python 3.8+ or uv, and on Windows you also need Git Bash because the token refresh hook is a bash script.
After that, commands like /spotify-ads-api:build-campaign do the work. Access is bound to the ad account whose terms you accepted on the Ads API page, so the wrong account selection is enough to break the whole flow.
