Parsi MCP — Claude Code MCP server for Persian and Iran tools
An offline MCP server that hands your agent Jalali dates, Iranian validators, Persian text helpers and RTL frontend snippets.
claude mcp add parsi-mcp -- npx -y parsi-mcpWhat Parsi MCP does
Everything runs on your machine and no API key is involved. The server registers 56 tools: Jalali date conversion, formatting and parsing, month grids for date pickers, business days with Friday as the weekend, checks for national ID, Sheba, card number and mobile number, Persian text normalization with ZWNJ repair, digits and numbers spelled out in words, and province lookup with ISO 3166-2 codes.
A second block covers layout. It ships RTL guidelines as a prompt, starter markup and price-input snippets, CSS and Tailwind audits, converters to logical properties, and Persian font presets. The bundled persian-rtl-frontend skill nudges the agent to build interfaces right-to-left from the start.
Node.js 18 or newer is required. The README notes the npm package was not published yet, so npx may fail — build from source instead: git clone, npm install, npm run build, then point the config at dist/index.js with node. Bank BIN, Sheba, mobile prefix and province data cover only publicly confirmed entries, and the VAT helper asks you to pass the rate.
What it helps with
- convert a date to Jalali and back
- check a card number and Sheba before checkout
- normalize Persian text and fix ZWNJ
- build an RTL form with a price field and Persian digits
- count business days with Friday as the weekend
Example prompts for the agent
- Build a Persian checkout page with a price field
- Validate the card number and Sheba in this form
- Show today's Jalali date and add 3 days to it
