OpenLeads — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Finds prospects and work emails from public sources without paid API keys. It organizes leads, tasks, and deal stages directly in a local database.
claude mcp add openleads -- uvx openleadsWhat OpenLeads does
OpenLeads discovers prospects by querying public registries such as OpenStreetMap and GitHub. It turns team pages on company websites into named contacts. Each discovered email receives an evidence mark: found, pattern, or guessed. Verification uses mail exchange DNS records and server checks. No external API keys are required.
The MCP server provides workspace tools to read and write directly to a local CRM. All contacts, lead scores and pipeline deals live in a SQLite file on your system. Data never leaves your machine. You can inspect customer fit scores and update deal stages from the conversation.
Running the server through uvx requires Python 3.8 or newer.
What it helps with
- gather business leads from public registries and company websites
- verify email deliverability using public evidence and server responses
- track deal pipeline stages and tasks inside a local SQLite database
- calculate customer fit scores for discovered prospects
