MCP Fiscal Brasil — Claude Code MCP server: Brazilian tax tooling
Gives your agent CNPJ checks, NF-e parsing, SPED summaries and Brazilian tax regime comparisons. No API key, no signup.
claude mcp add mcp-fiscal-brasil -- uvx mcp-fiscal-brasilWhat MCP Fiscal Brasil does
The server exposes Brazilian fiscal tools to your agent: NF-e XML parsing and validation, SPED summaries, CNPJ and CPF lookups, Simples Nacional and MEI regimes, NCM, CFOP and CNAE reference tables, plus IBS/CBS calculations for the 2026 tax reform. Some of it runs offline — XML parsing and the reference tables need no network.
Six high-level agent tools ship inside: analyze_cnpj_compliance, risk_score_supplier, consultar_empresas_lote, compare_tax_regimes, validate_nfe_full, summarize_sped. There are separate interfaces too — a mcp-fiscal CLI and a mcp-fiscal-api REST API with a demo web UI. The HTTP client handles retries, caching and per-host rate limits.
You need Python 3.11 or newer, since the server runs through uvx. Signing XML with an A1 certificate over mTLS to SEFAZ is opt-in and off by default. Behind a proxy or a private PyPI mirror, set that in your environment or the tool's config file rather than on the install line.
What it helps with
- vet a supplier by CNPJ before signing a contract
- parse an NF-e XML and catch key or issuer errors
- turn SPED blocks into a short report with inconsistencies
- compare MEI, Simples, Lucro Presumido and Lucro Real for a revenue figure
- screen a batch of CNPJs in one call with a risk score
Example prompts for the agent
- check this supplier by CNPJ and give me a risk score
- parse this NF-e XML and list the issues
- compare tax regimes for 500000 revenue in the services sector
