What livediagram does

This server provides AI models with tools to interact with documents on livediagram.app. The assistant can create empty boards, update nodes, and inspect existing schematics without leaving the editor.

The service runs as a Cloudflare Worker on mcp.livediagram.app. Tool calls flow over HTTP. Authentication relies on OAuth.

You do not need a local Node.js environment to run it. If network policies block requests to mcp.livediagram.app, tool calls will fail immediately.

What it helps with

  • generate new diagrams and mindmaps from text specifications
  • update existing document nodes and connections through the assistant
  • inspect remote canvas structure for architecture reviews
  • link project repositories to visual diagrams

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a new architecture mindmap on livediagram for our backend services.
  • Add an authentication service node to the active livediagram canvas.
  • Inspect the current diagram and describe how the components interact.
