Layrcake — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Layrcake gives an agent tools to find B2B contacts, check work emails, and prepare campaigns. Connect it when you want to handle those tasks from Claude Code.
claude mcp add --transport http layrcake https://mcp.layrcake.dev/mcpWhat Layrcake does
Layrcake exposes tools for finding people and companies, checking email deliverability, spotting buying signals, and gathering company details. It can also draft email sequences, add recipients, and retrieve replies. Some operations use prepaid credits, and tool results report the charge.
The hosted MCP server uses browser sign-in with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE. New accounts start with 300 credits and need no card. In Claude Code, connect it with claude mcp add --transport http layrcake https://mcp.layrcake.dev/mcp.
Campaign drafts do not send on their own. Sending, buying mail capacity, and replying in an existing thread require a signed-in person to approve the action in the console. Approval is required before any email goes out.
What it helps with
- find B2B contacts by role and industry
- check whether work email addresses can receive mail
- gather hiring and funding signals for a company
- prepare a campaign draft with recipients
- read and classify incoming replies
Example prompts for the agent
- Find B2B contacts matching this role and industry.
- Check the work email addresses for these contacts and show me the results.
- Draft a campaign for these recipients, but do not send it.
