drop — Claude Code MCP server: what it does, how to install
Hosts HTML pages created by your AI assistant and returns a live web link you can share immediately.
claude mcp add --transport http drop https://drop.neuronik.io/mcpWhat drop does
drop converts HTML generated in chat (such as dashboards or interface mockups) into hosted web pages. Instead of configuring infrastructure or pasting files manually, the assistant invokes publish_page to produce an active link. Pages support public access with rich previews or private mode restricted to teammates sharing an email domain.
Edits apply to the original URL via update_page. The assistant can inspect prior markup with get_page, list workspace content with list_pages, or remove outdated materials using delete_page.
The backend infrastructure is a proprietary cloud service; only the helper CLI and documentation are open source under the MIT license. Because a remote MCP server cannot read your local filesystem, attaching local images or PDFs requires the separate @neuronik/drop-upload CLI and an upload token.
What it helps with
- host AI-generated HTML without configuring cloud infrastructure
- share interactive prototypes with team members via a direct link
- modify existing live pages without changing their URLs
- restrict prototype access to company workspace members
Example prompts for the agent
- Drop this dashboard as a public web page and give me the link
- Update the live page with the revised table layout
- List all pages currently published in our drop workspace
