Drawing Anonymizer — Claude Code MCP server: setup and overview
MCP server that hides names, addresses, and corporate logos on engineering PDFs while keeping mechanical dimensions intact.
claude mcp add --env DRAWING_ANONYMIZER_URL=<DRAWING_ANONYMIZER_URL> --transport stdio drawing-anonymizer -- npx -y drawing-anonymizer-mcpWhat Drawing Anonymizer does
This server prepares manufacturing drawings for third parties under NDA or privacy requirements. The analyze_drawing tool uploads a vector or scanned drawing up to 30 MB and 4 pages to the Imnoo analysis backend. The system marks contact blocks, vendor names, and logos, leaving dimensions, notes, and tolerances legible for quoting.
Review and redacting stages run locally. The review_masking tool reports a privacy score from 0 to 100 alongside any text that remains visible. Afterward, mask_drawing covers sensitive zones with blank areas or custom company markers, removes document metadata, and turns pages into a flattened 288 dpi raster to stop reverse-engineering.
Unregistered visitors get a strict limit of one free drawing analysis per day per IP address, and running the package requires Node.js version 22.13 or newer.
What it helps with
- Mask client names and logos on CAD sheets before subcontractor quoting
- Flatten PDF layers into a single raster to prevent text recovery
- Generate time-limited expiring links for redacted engineering drawings
- Replace customer identity fields with your own company branding
Example prompts for the agent
- Anonymize
bracket.pdf, replace the client logo with our company name, and output a flattened file - Run review masking on the saved analysis JSON and check what text remains visible
- Mask sensitive fields on
flange.pdfand create a share link that expires after 2 hours
