chaink9 — Claude Code MCP server for token risk checks
chaink9 trades tokens on a fork of BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, or Base to check for risks. Use it to inspect a token before trading.
claude mcp add --transport http chaink9 https://api.chaink9.com/mcpWhat chaink9 does
chaink9 makes a real buy and sell on a fork of the selected chain, then checks what happened. Its tools cover buyer traps, changing trade taxes, owner controls, liquidity, stored scan results, and transaction simulations. Supported networks are BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, and Base.
For a local setup, use a dedicated Base wallet funded with USDC; successful paid calls are settled through x402. Set its private key in CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY, and configure per-call and daily spending caps with environment variables. The check reflects behavior on a fork at the scanned block, so it cannot guarantee that a token stays safe if its owner changes the rules later.
What it helps with
- check whether a token blocks buyers from selling
- compare a token’s buy and sell taxes
- inspect owner controls such as pausing or blacklisting
- review a token’s pool liquidity
- simulate a wallet’s token trade on a chain fork
Example prompts for the agent
- Check this Base token for trading risks and summarize the findings.
- Compare the buy and sell taxes for this Ethereum token.
- Simulate selling this token from the selected wallet on BNB Smart Chain.

Questions about chaink9
How do I install chaink9 in Claude Code?
For a local setup, run `claude mcp add --env CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY=<CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY> --env CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_CALL=<CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_CALL> --env CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_DAY=<CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_DAY> --transport stdio chaink9 -- npx -y chaink9-mcp`. Provide the key for a dedicated Base wallet funded with USDC for paid calls.
What does chaink9 do?
It trades a token on a fork of BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, or Base, then reports risks based on that behavior. Other tools cover liquidity, stored scan results, and transaction simulations.
What do paid chaink9 checks require?
A local setup uses a dedicated Base wallet with USDC and its private key in CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY. Payments use x402, and environment variables can cap spending per call and per day.
