buywhere-mcp — Claude Code MCP server: product search
Search product listings, compare prices, and find deals through an MCP client. Useful when an agent needs shopping results for supported markets.
claude mcp add buywhere-mcp -e BUYWHERE_API_KEY=<BUYWHERE_API_KEY> -- npx -y @buywhere/mcp-serverWhat buywhere-mcp does
BuyWhere connects an agent to a product catalog. It can search by keyword, category, price, or country, retrieve product details, compare listings, and look for the lowest-priced option that can be delivered. Supported markets include Singapore, the US, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam; listed retailers include Lazada, Shopee, and Amazon.
The MCP tools cover product search, comparisons of 2–10 items, deals, and similar products. Local use requires Node.js and a BUYWHERE_API_KEY; the local server command needs that key to authenticate. Claude Code can also connect over HTTP, using the remote setup command below.
What it helps with
- search products by country, category, or price range
- compare prices and details for several items
- find the lowest-priced deliverable listing
- spot products with price drops
Example prompts for the agent
- Find wireless earbuds under $50 that can be delivered to Singapore.
- Compare these products and pick the best-priced option.
- Find the cheapest deliverable listing for this product.
