bitroad — Claude Code MCP server: agent purchases
bitroad gives an agent access to a goods and services marketplace, where it can search listings, place orders, and manage returns or disputes. You set the spending limits.
claude mcp add --transport http bitroad https://app.bitroad.ai/api/v1/mcpWhat bitroad does
With bitroad, an agent can search marketplace listings, inspect orders, start purchases, follow delivery, request returns, and file disputes. For work services, it can request a quote; payment stays in escrow until you accept the deliverable.
Connect Claude Code over HTTP, complete OAuth approval, then create a buyer account. To enable purchases, add a card and set caps for each transaction, daily spending, and total spending. Without those settings, the agent has no purchase path. It never receives card details.
A product purchase takes two calls: the first reserves stock and records the price, tax, and shipping; the next confirms payment and creates the order. Purchase intents expire after 15 minutes. Buyer and seller accounts are separate, so buyer accounts cannot use tools with the seller_ prefix.
What it helps with
- search marketplace listings for goods and services
- place orders within configured spending caps
- check order and delivery status
- start returns or submit disputes
- request a service quote and accept its deliverable
Example prompts for the agent
- Find desk lamps in the catalogue and show me the prices.
- Check my orders and tell me the delivery status.
- Start a return for order
ORDER_ID.
