AITOPIA — MCP server for Claude Code: features and setup
AITOPIA gives coding agents access to AI media generation, editing and analysis. Use it to produce product ads, short videos, voiceovers and branded visuals.
claude mcp add --transport http aitopia https://mcp.aitopia.ai/mcpWhat AITOPIA does
AITOPIA connects an agent to services for generating images, video clips, music and voice tracks, as well as modifying existing media. The remote MCP endpoint is https://mcp.aitopia.ai/mcp. You authenticate through a browser with an AITOPIA account, and completed work is stored there for further editing.
The repository includes skills for media generation, clip editing and file uploads, along with workflows for product commercials, UGC ads, short-form videos, YouTube thumbnails and brand kits. Its analyze_media tool examines a video's content, identifies spoken words and on-screen text, maps scenes to timestamps, and reviews ad structure. Video analysis accepts files up to 2 MB and costs about 3 credits per run; dryRun lets you check the price before starting.
AITOPIA supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed and Gemini CLI. The MCP server runs remotely, so there is no need to install it on the local machine. An AITOPIA account and browser sign-in are required to use its services. In Claude Code, connect it with claude mcp add --transport http aitopia https://mcp.aitopia.ai/mcp, then authenticate when prompted.
What it helps with
- Generate image variations from a text prompt
- Combine clips with voiceover or background music
- Build a product commercial from a product photo
- Break a video into timestamped scenes
- Review an ad and identify weaknesses in its opening
Example prompts for the agent
- Generate several image options from this description and show them side by side.
- Turn these uploaded clips into a 9:16 vertical video with a voiceover.
- Analyze the video at this URL and list each scene with its timestamps.
