What sync-automation-setup does

The command checks GitHub access, Linear MCP availability, Docker, webhook endpoints, database connectivity, queue services, and existing CI/CD files. Its arguments select full automation, webhook setup, monitoring, or a deployment target.

It can configure GitHub and Linear webhooks, event handling, scheduled syncs, queue management, sync state, database schema, backups, health checks, dashboards, alerts, and notifications. It may create GitHub Actions workflows and prepare deployment settings. GitHub and Linear MCP access are required for the prerequisite checks, along with reachable Docker, webhook, database, and queue infrastructure.

What it helps with

  • validate GitHub and Linear MCP access
  • configure webhooks for synchronized events
  • create CI/CD workflows and scheduled syncs
  • prepare database state and backups
  • add health checks and alerting
