What gws-workflow-standup-report does

This command runs a Google Workspace workflow that brings together today’s calendar agenda and open tasks. Choose JSON, table, YAML, or CSV output; for a table, run gws workflow +standup-report --format table.

You need the Google Workspace CLI gws installed and authentication configured. Check the latter with gws auth status. Before running the workflow, read ../gws-shared/SKILL.md; if that file is missing, the instructions direct you to create it with gws generate-skills. The workflow is read-only, so it won’t modify Google Workspace data.

What it helps with

  • combine today’s meetings and open tasks in a standup summary
  • prepare a daily standup report from calendar and task data
  • export the meeting and task summary as CSV or a table

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a standup summary from today’s meetings and open tasks.
  • Show the standup report as a table.
  • Prepare the meeting and task summary in CSV format.
