Plugins for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
Bundles for Claude Code and Codex: skills, commands, agents, hooks and MCP in one install.
Nothing here yet: cards appear once a checked description is ready.
A plugin bundles several extensions into one install: skills, slash commands, subagents, hooks and MCP servers. In Claude Code it is a folder with a .claude-plugin/plugin.json manifest plus skills/, commands/, agents/, hooks/hooks.json and .mcp.json. Everything inside gets a plugin:component namespace, so two plugins shipping a command with the same name do not collide.
Plugins are distributed through marketplaces. A marketplace is just a repository with a .claude-plugin/marketplace.json file. Add one with /plugin marketplace add owner/repo, then install with /plugin install name@marketplace. The official Anthropic marketplace is available in Claude Code out of the box.
Codex has its own plugins (skills, MCP servers and hooks; /plugins opens the browser in the CLI), and Gemini CLI has extensions built around gemini-extension.json. None of these formats are interchangeable. Details: Claude Code plugins and marketplaces.
