The Trump of sportsbooks

Bovada's customer service is simply one bullshit reply after another (hence the reference to Trump). It's like we have the concept of a deal....oops, no we don't. This is basically how it works when they have website problems. When their site crashes (as it did yet again last night before the Knicks/Spurs game), the standard response is to restart your computer, clear your cache, and use incognito mode. They recommend this despite you telling them that you are having no problems getting into Google, Yahoo, Gmail, and a myriad of other sites (Bovada being the only site that doesn't work but they still imply the problem is on your end). Then they question your internet speed (mine is top of the line). Then they want a screenshot because they think good customer service is implying you're lying (Lord forbid they listen to what the customer is telling them). In the case last night, 20 minutes before the start of the game, I couldn't get into their site. When they requested a screen shot, I had to stop myself from asking them if they realized how ignorant their response was and asked if they understood what I told them....I CANNOT GET INTO YOUR SITE! The rep insisted it would be helpful to see. So in other words they wanted to see a screenshot of Google's opening page with Bovada in the location bar?! Can anyone tell me how that will help them solve the problem?! Basically it's a tactic to either imply the customer is lying so they don't have to address the complaint, or to stall until the website traffic drops and then they can say they fixed the problem (typical SOP with them). They also don't realize there are internet sites like "down detector" that has comments from people all over the country that report problems when websites are down (there was one last night about their site being down at the start of the game and the poster claimed it was down for 3 hours). They've even had times where they've told me they see no problem on their end and then a couple of days later send me out a generic email (which appeared to have went out to everyone) apologizing for website problems and issuing a monetary credit as an apology (and of course I'm thinking what the heck were they arguing with me for and denying things when they knew they had a problem). They clearly have no interest in permanently fixing their problem which has been going on for years. And then the person replying to your complaint will give you their standard form letter reply...While our team is dedicated to reviewing and addressing all reported issues, the initial troubleshooting steps we recommend are intended both to help prevent future disruptions and to guide us in determining whether further investigation is needed. No, your initial troubleshooting steps WILL NOT prevent future disruptions. And no further investigation is needed because you've had numerous complaints about these issues in your community forum over the years, this website, and a myriad of others. What you need to do is get competent IT people that can permanently (not temporarily) fix your problem. And let's stop with the patronizing by saying this isn't typical of your customer service and you're so sorry about the problem. You've said that hundreds of times in the reviews here. If you were truly sorry, you would fix the problem! And just an FYI to those reading these reviews:1). They will tell you they can't address concerns in this forum. That's some rule they made up. They absolutely can address concerns....THEY CHOOSE NOT TO.2). They will claim they've requested additional information to address your problem. The information they request is already in your profile, so it's useless to them. What they're really trying to establish is if you're a customer so they can remove negative reviews from this site.
